  3. Can't find an electrician to visit?

Many of our customers have referenced the ongoing struggle to find an electrician to come out at all, let alone for those smaller jobs. This drives us crazy!

We pride ourselves in offering quick quote visitations, and actually providing a quote!

We also accept, and most times enjoy coming out for the smaller jobs. OK, we might not be able to carry out your smaller job immediately (But if we can during the quote visit, we will.) But at the least we will add you to our cancellation/early finish list and squeeze you in as quickly as possible. Sometimes jobs are cancelled, or a job will finish a little bit ahead of schedule.

We have also been known to squeeze a few smaller jobs in on a Saturday, to prevent customers waiting any longer than needed.

So I guess the purpose of this little post is to let you all know not to give up, get in touch and see how we can help you out.

We do run with a minimum job fee though, currently it’s £45 so it is worth while adding more than one small job for the works visit.

As an example, we will come out to swap an electrical faceplate, this would be £45 or we could come out and swap simple pendant style light fixture and an electrical faceplate for £45 – £50.

I hope this helps to explain our minimum works fee, and helps you understand how to make the most of it.

Thank you

Owner and electrician at PSV Electrical. I love being an electrician and love to provide a service to my local community. Phill.
