Installing
A New Lone Light Fixture
If you have had a new room/extension built and currently have no lighting in there, this is the service you’re looking for.
The ideal time for this work to be started is prior to boarding and plastering the ceiling. Best practise would be for us to run the cables and leave them looped at the required position, to then return at a later date to connect them up and add the new fixture.
We will install a new light and switches as requested.
We will install all the required fixtures and switches, test the circuit and clean up before we leave.
Time estimate for this service is from 1 – 4 hours depending on the amount of works requested.

Guidance Notes
Floor Boards
As part of the pre-installation, we will be required to run the cables for the new light fixture. This is quick, easy and relatively mess free if the ceiling is down/being replaced. If not, we may need to lift the carpets and floorboards in the room above to effectively run the cables in the void. We will however re-lay the floorboards and carpets once we have finished.
Dust/Debris
As part of the installation process, holes must be drilled in the ceiling, for the lights to be fitted. Although we use special covers to collect as much dust and debris as possible, some may sneak through. We will however carry out a full clean up prior to leaving the premises.
Carpets and Dust
Please note. Although we do all we can to re-lay the carpets as they were found, we are not carpet fitters. We have never had a customer complain about our carpet re-lays, but feel it should be mentioned here. Dust from the ceiling cut-outs may be present in the room for a few hours post works completion.
