Adding
A New Light To An Existing Circuit
As time moves on, our style choices or likes/dislikes change. If you currently have a room with only one light installed, and you would really like a second one to make the room pop, this is the service for you.
For example: If you have a room with downlights or wall lights, and you’d like a low hanging pendant light over your new dining table, we will install that for you. We can install it so it comes on with the existing lights, or on its own switch, the choice is yours.
We will install all the required fixtures and switches, test the circuit and clean up before we leave.
Time estimate for this service is from 30 minutes up to a couple of hours depending on the amount of works requested.

Guidance Notes
Floor Boards
As part of the pre-installation, we will be required to run the cables for the new light fixture and to potentially move the existing one. This is quick, easy and relatively mess free if the ceiling is down/being replaced. If not, we may need to lift the carpets and floorboards in the room above to effectively run the cables in the void. We will however re-lay the floorboards and carpets once we have finished.
Dust/Debris
As part of the installation process, holes must be drilled in the ceiling, for the lights to be fitted. Although we use special covers to collect as much dust and debris as possible, some may sneak through. We will however carry out a full clean up prior to leaving the premises.
Carpets and Dust
Please note. Although we do all we can to re-lay the carpets as they were found, we are not carpet fitters. We have never had a customer complain about our carpet re-lays, but feel it should be mentioned here. Dust from the ceiling cut-outs may be present in the room for a few hours post works completion.
