FaceplateReplacement
Replacing an electrical faceplate is one of the services that doesn’t tend to come with too much mess, as long as the new faceplate is of a similar fitting size to the original.
We will complete the faceplate replacement, test the circuit and clean up before we leave.
Time estimate for this service is from 30 minutes up to a couple of hours.

Guidance Notes
Location
We will need clear access to the faceplate in order to carry out this replacement. We have no problems with moving some furniture around, but larger items may need to be moved prior to our arrival.
Potential Problems
If we remove the existing faceplate and find the back box is either damaged, rusty or just not fit for purpose, we will need to replace that too. The replacement may cause small amounts of damage to the plaster work around the fixture that we will fill prior to leaving.
Carpets and Dust
Depending on the age of the building, some dust/debris may be present when the old faceplate is removed. This of course will be cleaned up prior to our departure.
