These wireless light switches are the bee’s knees for a massive number of lighting solutions.
I’ll throw in a couple of basic ideas below to see if any of them would be fit for purpose for your needs;
- Do you live in a dark area, such as a village. Often times you arrive home with shopping in the car and find your self doing that weird arm wave dance to activate the motion sensor lights on your driveway, or in front of your house. Then struggle with arms full of bags?
- The solution would be to utilise a small wireless key fob, where you can turn the outside lights on from your car, or as you make way up the drive from a range of up to 80m! Perfect.
- Do you have a garden/summer room with power inside, and often find yourself walking to, or from it in the dark? Imagine if you could quickly and easily, switch the lights on from either your keys, as above, of by using a snazzy looking kinetic switch (Fully waterproof) stuck to any surface along the way.
- As with any kind of electrical work, there are multiple solutions with wireless light switches.
- We could replace an existing light switch with one that looks very similar to the one pictured above, that has a built in receiver. Then we could connect up to 5 of the slimline waterproof switches or key fobs anywhere desired.
- Another option is to remove an existing light switch all together (Or just not add one if it’s for a new lighting circuit.) and install a wireless receiver (Pictured below.) This will allow us to connect up to 10 wireless switches or key fobs to that light fixture.
We really do like these wireless light switching solutions, every time we install them we get that weird techno buzz that we as a civilisation are slowly moving to the future.
As always, get in touch if you wish to find out more.
