PAT Testing (Portable Appliance Testing) ensures your electrical appliances are safe and compliant with regulations. Here at PSV Electrical, we provide the an affordable local PAT testing service, dedicated to maintaining the highest safety standards.

All portable appliances with a 3-pin domestic plug must be regularly tested to ensure safety. Non-compliance can lead to prosecution, fines of up to £5000, and up to 6 months imprisonment. We use the latest test equipment and conduct thorough inspections, ensuring every appliance is safe for use.

Costs:

Fixed Price for the 1st 50 items – £135

This fee covers us coming to your premesis and conducting the inspection and testing and providing an insurance approved certificate.

An asset register will be created and sent over, and a schedule will be set and added to the calendar for further inspections at a routine of your choosing

For any items over the fixed price 50 above will be a fixed cost per item of – £1

If you have more items than the 50 included above, we will charge a further £1 per each additional item.

Out of hours inspection and testing – from £150 for the 1st 50 items.

Here at PSV Electrical, we understand that certain appliances just cant be turned off or unplugged during the working day, so we will come and conduct the testing at a time suitable to you. Just get in touch to make arrangements.

Plug fitment – £4

If any of your appliances require a 230V 3 pin plug, where none were previously fitted. We can supply and fit one.

Small and local service (Up to 10 items – ideal for working from home or small shops) – £45

Express Certification Service – £10 additional fee
