Adding
New socket orLight switch
There is nothing worse than having a move around, or moving in to a new home to find that you will need to use extension leads to get power to the required area in a room.
We will quickly get you set up with a new socket or light switch in any location within your premises.
We will install all the required sockets and switches, test the circuit and clean up before we leave.
Time estimate for this service is 2-6 hours depending on the amount of sockets/switches requested.

Adding A New socket
Guidance Notes
Floor Boards
As part of the pre-installation, we will be required to run the cables for the new sockets/switches. We may need to lift the carpets and floorboards in the room to effectively run the cables in the void. If we have no access to the this, we must use the ceiling void.
Wall Chases
Part of installing new sockets/switches is running the cables to them. This will require us to chase out, or chisel out the plaster to run the cables within the zones on the wall. This causes dust and debris which will be cleaned up as best as possible, however some dust in the air may remain for a little while afterwards. We do have an additional service to fill in these chases if required.
Carpets and Dust
Please note. Although we do all we can to re-lay the carpets as they were found, we are not carpet fitters. We have never had a customer complain about our carpet re-lays, but feel it should be mentioned here. Dust from the wall chases may be present in the room for a few hours post works completion.
